The Manitoba government is dishing out $2.25 million in funding for municipal road projects.
The Municipal Roads Improvement Program is where the money is coming from.
The R.M. of Dauphin is receiving $23-thousand to upgrade Bonk Road and Dump Road; Minnedosa $18-thousand to restore 2nd Avenue Northwest; Dauphin over $107-thousand for work on Johnston Street; Swan River over $67-thousand for its curb gutter asphalt pavement project.
Municipal Relations Minister Jeff Wharton says these improvements help increase economic activity and improve public safety and community development.
