Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench will be the site of a court hearing tomorrow (Wed).
It’s regarding the $15.2-million dollars that was raised after the fatal April 6th Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
That money hasn’t been distributed yet due to provincial legislation called the Informal Public Appeals Act which outlines court-supervised payouts.
The Humboldt Broncos Memorial Fund Inc. will ask the court to approve an interim payment of $50-thousand each to the 13 survivors and families of the 16 dead, and a committee to determine how the remainder will be split.
They also want the court to declare a GoFundMe campaign a public appeal.
