The second of two boys arrested in connection with a home invasion in Canora has been sentenced.
In the late night hours of May 24th, four masked suspects forced their way into a home carrying baseball bats, a woman was struck in the leg, and two asthma inhalers were stolen.
One boy, who can’t be named due to his age, pleaded guilty to Robbery With a Weapon, Break and Enter, and Wearing a Disguise to Commit an Offence.
He was sentenced to 150 days of closed custody, 150 days of open custody, and 150 days of community supervision, to be followed by 1 year of probation.
The other boy admitted to Wearing a Disguise to Commit an Offence, and back in June, he received 1 year of probation.
