The search for a missing 7-year-old boy has ended in tragedy.
Greagan Geldenhuys was reported missing last week after the body of his mother, 47-year-old Tamaine Geldenhuys was found on a beach near Fort Qu’Appelle.
Greagan’s body was located on this (Sun) morning on a beach by people who were walking their dog and came upon the body of Greagan, which was located on the same beach where his mother was found, but on the east side.
Greagan’s uncle, Darcy Pantel, says the mother and son were at the beach on a windy, windy day and that they were at the beach because they enjoyed being there together.
A Facebook group that was started for Greagan thanked everyone for their help in the search.
An autopsy will be done on Greagan, while an autopsy has been done on his mother but police say they are still waiting for a preliminary report from the forensic pathologist.
