The process to take down the tipis in Wascana Park is moving along.
Work is underway to disassemble the support tipis at the Justice For Our Stolen Children camp, as well as the kitchen.
An order was issued last Friday by a Court of Queen’s Bench judge for the camp to immediately leave Wascana Park.
Once the camp is gone, spokesperson Robyn Pitawanakwat she doesn’t what’s going to happen next.
The camp, which has been around now for 196 days, was established and protested several issues, including those of injustice and Indigenous children in care.
