Another court appearance has been made by a Melville woman, charged in a string of incidents in April.
30-year-old Verena Petruka will be back in North Battleford Provincial Court on October 30th, for a bail hearing. Her co-accused, 19-year-old Tristan Pinder, of Elk Point, Alberta, has a bail hearing set for October 29th.
On April 14th, RCMP say a theft from a gas station in Lashburn, involved a taxi van alleged to have been part of a robbery and assault in Regina, the previous evening.
Police spotted the vehicle on Highway 16 and pursued it until it stopped west of Delmas, where a firearm was discharged from the van, leading RCMP to respond in kind, and the van eventually became stuck in the ditch, leading to the arrests of Petruka and Pinder.
