The Melville Millionaires used a 3 goal opening period on Wednesday night as they won their 2nd straight game with a decisive 5-1 victory over the Estevan Bruins at the Horizon Credit Union Center.
Daniel Liberty, Aidan Steinke and Luke Spadafora (pictured above) led the way with 1G 1A each while Cory Schillo and Josh Borynec chipped in with singles.
Colby Entz made 25 saves on 26 shots to earn his 2nd straight win in goal for Melville.
Kolton Leslie replied with the only goal for the Bruins while Kadin Kilpatrick stopped 13 of 18 shots in the loss.
The Mills’ next game will be in Yorkton on Friday night for the 3rd Highway 10 battle of the season. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, “Sask Milk” pregame begins at 7:20, pxp starts at 7:30 from the Farrell Agencies Arena.

The fourth and final day of the MJHL Showcase took place on Wednesday in Winnipeg,
The Swan Valley Stampeders earned 3 out of a possible 4 points at the Showcase.
After their win over Portage on Tuesday, the Stamps got a point on Wednesday afternoon but fell 5-4 in overtime to the Selkirk Steelers.
The Stamps got out to a 4-1 deficit after 2 periods but stormed back with goals from Troy Quinn (2) and Josh Tripp in the third to tie it up at 4-4 and force overtime.
Connor Barley would get the game winner for the Steelers just 2:22 into the extra frame.
Tripp would open the scoring for Swan in the 1st while Michael Davis made 25 saves for Swan in the overtime loss.
The Stampeders return to action at home on the weekend for a couple games on Saturday and Sunday against the visiting Steinbach Pistons.
