The Roblin Food Bank received a 5-hundred dollar donation from the sale of GX94 Christmas Goodies Cookbooks.
Food Bank Chairperson Ethel Misko says the money will used to buy various groceries from bread, peanut butter, soups and canned vegetables to coffee and tea.
“This contribution is most welcome at this year and I want to thank all the great chefs and cooks who send in their recipes…sharing their love and care for this community-minded fundraiser.” she said.
Misko says they help several people from the Roblin area.
“Usually every week we have about 30 to 40 clients coming to use the food bank.”
The cookbooks are still on sale and can be purchased at the Health Foundation Gift Shop in the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.
