A rally in Regina at the Legislature tomorrow (Tues) is all about promoting the conversation around getting pipelines built and support Canada’s natural resource sectors.
It’s one of many rallies being organized by ‘Canada Action’ and ‘Rally 4 Resources’ leading up to a separate convoy of pro-pipeline supporters heading to Ottawa in February.
Canada Action spokesperson, Cody Battershill, says emphasizes that tomorrow’s rally is not a convoy – it’s a rally for people to talk about support for natural resource industries including agriculture, potash, uranium, oil and gas, and pipelines.
He suggests leaving the big rigs and yellow vests at home.
Battershill says this is not a yellow vest rally. These cross-country rallies are focused solely on resource issues, with the goal of leading the conversation in a fact-driven, non-partisan and respectful way.
Battershill asks for the silent, soft spoken majority to speak up.
He believes action is needed to make sure we have a good economy in our natural resource sector because all Canadians win when the resource industries are strong.
The rally begins at 11:45 at the Saskatchewan Legislature.
