People from the Star Blanket Cree Nation will be participating in a community build to help bring a proper heating system to a local home.

The project has been named “A Blanket of Warmth for Our Nations Homes” which aims at bringing in-wall heating systems to houses affected by mold in their basements.

The in-wall heating system plans to warm basements up from 17 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius, helping bring down the risk of mold growth and reduce electrical energy bills.
