Additional Charges Laid Against Suspect in Punnichy-Area Crime Spree

One of three suspects arrested is facing additional charges in connection to a crime spree in the Punnichy area.
Among the 10 charges against 26-year-old Derek Pasap are two counts of Possession of a firearm while prohibited, three counts of Breach of recognizance and Attempted Murder.
Pasap was in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (Wed) and was remanded in custody for next Monday (June 10).
His co-accused, 20-year-old Tyler Gambler and 24-year-old Jamie Munroe are in custody on numerous charges, while 25-year-old Donnely Nanaquewetung is still wanted.
On May 22, a man was struck by a vehicle, then shot, on the Muskowekwan First Nation.
Then on May 23, an altercation on the Piapot First Nation led to one victim being struck with a machete, and the other being chased to the Muscowpetung First Nation.
