APAS Is Concerned About Drought Conditions

Saskatchewan’s umbrella farm organization has come up with a long list of measures to help farmers deal with drought conditions. APAS President Todd Lewis says both levels of government need to respond because ”we just can’t keep hoping for rain.” APAS wants all areas of the province covered under the Livestock Tax Deferral Program, and to open Crown Land for grazing and to enhance the current Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure program.
