Riders drop to 0-2 after losing offensive shootout in Ottawa

The Saskatchewan Roughriders fell to 0-2 on the season despite a surprising outburst led by QB Cody Fajardo.

Fajardo threw for 360 yards and two touchdowns but the Riders fell on the roard, 44-41 to the Ottawa Redblacks.

Fajardo’s counterpart Dominique Davis went 30 for 39 for 354 passing yards and 3 TDs to lead Ottawa to their 2nd straight win to start the season.

The Green and White return to action on Canada Day when they welcome the Toronto Argonauts.
