A 64 year old man and 76 year old woman from Strathclair, Manitoba are dead, after the motorcycle they were riding hit a deer on the Yellowhead highway near Newdale yesterday (Mon) morning.

RCMP say the woman, who was the passenger, was dead at the scene, while the male driver later died in hospital.

Mounties say both were thrown from the machine, and that alcohol and drugs were likely not factors.
