Saskatchewan livestock producers are disappointed with a report that China will stop imports of Canadian meat. The manager of the Saskatchewan Stock Growers, Chad MacPherson, is disappointed saying Canada produces some of the safest food in the world with a rigorous health inspection system. He sees the Chinese action as an escalation of the diplomatic dispute over the arrest of a Chinese business executive in Vancouver.
