Weekly Saskatchewan Crop Report Released

Rainfall last week will give a boost to crop growth in the province.
Saskatchewan Agriculture crop specialist Cory Jacob says the majority of crops range from behind, to normal in their development.
He says the rain helped to replenish topsoil moisture reserves.
Jacob says unfortunately, the rainfall came too late for the majority of first-cut hay, but it will encourage growth for a later cut.
