Team Saskatchewan will try to defend their Canada Cup title this weekend, after advancing to the title game in Kingston, Ontario.

Saskatchewan which includes Esterhazy’s Dalton Norek defeated Ontario 23-15 in the Semi-Finals yesterday (Wed).

Lane Novak, who has ties to Yorkton with both of his parents originally being from the city had an interception to lead Sask.

They will take on Quebec in the Gold Medal game on Saturday
