Storms Pound Sask.

Some stormy weather rolled over the region last night, but didn’t bring much in the way of severe weather. Wind was the main issue from the systems, with gusts to 80 km/h at the Yorkton airport, and 75 in Roblin. Near Preeceville, 2/12 inches of rain was reported. Meantime, people in Eston, south of Kindersley, are cleaning up this morning after a major storm tore through the town last night, even though it’s yet to be determined if it was a tornado. Roofs were ripped off and electricity has been cut off after high winds, and twoonie size hail blew through the community around 9:00 last night.
