President Donald Trump visited the sites of last weekend’s two deadly mass shootings that killed 31 people. Visiting Dayton, Ohio where 9 people died, and El Paso, Texas where 22 were killed, Trump was greeted by supporters and protesters. Some of the later blame his rhetoric for inflaming political and racial tensions in the country. He also met with survivors of both attacks. Meantime, over 200 mayors are calling for the Senate to return to Washington to pass two bipartisan bills expanding background checks for gun sales.
