Manitoba Agriculture reports the harvest of fall seeded crops is nearing completion, and the spring cereal harvest is moving right along.

Crop specialist Dane Froese expects to see harvest really ramping up in western Manitoba over the coming week.

Froese says yields on spring cereals have generally been average to below average, with good quality and mid-range protein levels.
