Manitobans are heading to the ballot box for their provincial election today. Voting will take place until 8 o’clock tonight.

Live election coverage will begin at 8:30 Manitoba time on GX94. Our station will have a reporter at the Swan River returning office. Going into the election, the  conservatives under Brian Pallister held 38 of 57 seats, the NDP under Wab Kinew had 12, the Liberals under Dougald Lamont 4. There were 2 independents, and the Manitoba First party had 1.
