Muscowpetung Robbery Suspect Appears in Court

A man charged after numerous robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation, was back in court yesterday (WED).
21-year-old Michael Obey, of Regina, who is charged with several offences, including Armed Robbery, appeared in Regina, and will be back in court there next Friday (27th).
His co-accused, 25-year-old Jarrett Poitras, of the Muscowpetung First Nation, will be back in court in Fort Qu’Appelle next Thursday (26th), while a third suspect – 27-year-old Jere Pinacie – is still wanted by police.
On March 4th, RCMP say a convenience store on the reserve was robbed of money and tobacco products, and then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed, and a home on the reserve was broken into.
