Justin Trudeau’s Liberals Win A Minority

Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is being returned to power in Ottawa, but not with a majority government. The Liberals won 157 seats, and will form a minority. They needed to win 170 seats for a majority. Andrew Scheer’s conservatives won 121 seats, the NDP 24, the Bloc 32 and the Green Party 3. The Yorkton Melville riding remains Conservative Blue. Cathay Wagantall was re-elected in last night’s federal election, fellow Tory Dan Mazier won the Dauphin Swan River Neepawa riding, and Robert Kitchen won in Souris-Moose Mountain. In fact, all federal seats in Saskatchewan were claimed by the Tories, including Regina-Wascana, where long-time Liberal M.P Ralph Goodale was defeated by Michael Kram.
