The numbers are in from the City of Yorkton’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day October 19th, and 25 hundred kilograms was brought in.
Included was nearly 14 hundred kilograms of flammable liquids, 77 kilos of toxic waste and 460 kilos of hazardous materials like oils and fluorescent tubes.
The city says some 85 vehicles dropped off the materials at the Public Works building on York Road.
