Saskatchewan farmers overcame less than ideal weather conditions last week to make good harvest progress.
Saskatchewan Agriculture says 90% of crops are now in the bin, up from 83% per cent last week.
That is still behind the 5 year average for this time of year of 96% complete.
Producers in east central Saskatchewan made the most harvest progress, going from 66% complete last week to 82% now.
Some fields remain saturated with excess water, particularly in southern and east-central regions.
Those areas may not get harvested until spring.
Provincially, topsoil moisture on cropland is rated as 13% surplus, 80% adequate, 5% short and 2% very short.
