It’s Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping Heritage Day in Saskatchewan today. Over 250-thousand Saskatchewan residents participate in the three sports every year, and they generate over 600-million dollars in economic activity each year. Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation Executive Director Darrell Crabbe is encouraging residents to wear camouflage clothing today, to show their support for fish, wildlife, and habitat conservation. Heritage Day coincides with the opening of the white-tailed deer season.
