Canola Prices Should Be Higher: Market Analyst

A market analyst says Canadian canola is ”on sale” in the world market.
Speaking in Saskatoon, Mike Jubinville believes canola would be trading ”a good dollar a bushel higher than it is today” if it weren’t for an ongoing canola trade dispute with China.
He says the world vegetable oil stocks-to-use ratio is declining.
Canadian canola crushers are also running at full capacity and Jubinville is expecting a record crush of 9.8 million metric tonnes.
He adds it would be even higher if there was larger domestic crushing capacity.
