It was a busy Monday night for members of Yorkton City Council. They approved the operating and capital budgets, which means a tax hike of 2.9% next year, approved a 5 year collective agreement with it CUPE Local 342 employees with total wage increase of 9.36 percent, and gave the Yorkton Brick Flour Mill Committee a $300-thousand financial commitment.
