New Court Date Set for Man Injured While being Arrested by Kamsack RCMP

A man who was injured while being arrested by the Kamsack RCMP, has appeared in court again.
34-year-old Frederick Cote appeared by video this (Tue) morning in Kamsack, and was remanded in custody for January 21st.
On November 28th, Mounties responded to a report of a woman being held against her will at a residence on the Cote First Nation.
When police arrived, the suspect escaped from the home through a window, and during a foot chase, the man slipped on the ice and hit his head.
The Estevan Police Service has been called in to review the incident.
