Starting tonight at 11:00, and for the next 72 hours, the City of Yorkton has imposed a parking ban on all snow removal routes. It simply means no parking in those routes from 11:00 p.m to 7:00 a.m, when parking will be allowed in the downtown core. Routes are clearly marked by signs, and are also available on the city’s website. If you do park on a designated snow route street, you could be fined, or have your vehicle towed.
