An arctic air mass will be entrenched in the Parkland Region for the next few days.

Phil Spevak at Precision Weather says as a result, an extreme cold warning is in effect.

Wind Chill values for today, tonight and tomorrow will be around minus 40, and it won’t warm up until Friday with a high of minus 19.

Wynyard, Wadena, Foam Lake, Punnichy, Balcarres, among many other areas, are under the warning.
