Yorkton RCMP have had numerous complaints from the public about phone, email and regular mail scams.

Some of the more frequent ones include someone posing as an agent of the Canada Revenue Service demanding Social Insurance Numbers, to claiming to be from the STARS air ambulance lottery requesting banking information to claim a prize.

As in all such cases, RCMP say don’t open unsolicited email or return calls if no message was left.
