A Rare Earth Mine Could Be Coming To Sask.

A Canadian company is hopeful about developing North America’s first rare earth elements mining operation in northern Saskatchewan near Uranium City. Appia Energy is now determining the size of the deposit, with the chance of setting up a small temporary commercial operation at the same time. The elements they have found are used to make cell phones, electric cars and medical devises, essentially anything with magnets.
