Two of three people arrested following a violent home invasion in Russell, have appeared in court again.

32-year-old Christopher Benn and 30-year-old Harley Mecas were in Brandon yesterday (Thu), and were remanded in custody to next Thursday.

Their co-accused, 40-year-old Elroy Benn, remains in custody as well, and returns to Russell on February 26th.

In the early morning hours of December 22nd, Russell RCMP were called to a report of a home invasion at an apartment complex in Russell, where a 32-year-old woman had been assaulted while she slept.
