New Court Date for Punnichy Woman Charged With Attempted Murder

A 23-year-old Punnichy woman remains in custody, facing several charges, including Attempted Murder, in connection with a shooting in Regina last April.
Janaya Kinequon was arrested after a 20-year-old man showed up in hospital with serious injuries from a gunshot.
Police say the April 19th shooting appears to be related to an incident involving a group of children and two adults, in which there was an argument that became physical, resulting in gunfire.
Kinequon was in Regina Provincial Court on Friday, where she was remanded in custody for her next appearance, on Wednesday.
