Saskatchewan Teachers Vote on Possible Job Action

The Saskatchewan Teachers Federation is holding a sanctions vote today (Mon) and tomorrow (Tue), after contract talks with the province broke down.
The result of the vote could see strike action, with class size and composition main issues.
Federation president Patrick Maze points to a model used in Alberta, where schools can apply for dollars from a fund to address certain needs, by hiring extra supports as a possible solution.

Teachers have been without a contract since August 31st, 2019.
