Over One Million Litres of Oil Spilled in Latest Guernsey Train Derailment

About 1.2-million litres of oil was spilled during last Thursday’s train derailment near Guernsey, according to the Saskatchewan government.
The province also says C.P. Rail will be responsible for covering all costs associated with the derailment, emergency response and cleanup.
Saskatchewan’s Environment Ministry reports the amount of oil cleaned up is still being determined as some of it was burned off.
Around 31 of the 104 cars left the tracks near Guernsey and 12 of them caught fire.
