Piapot First Nation Woman Charged in Fatal Vehicle/Pedestrian Collision has Preliminary Hearing Set

A preliminary hearing has been set for a Piapot First Nation woman, charged following a fatal vehicle/pedestrian collision.
43-year-old Leah Pratt will be back in Regina on May 11th, charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Criminal Negligence Causing Death.
Southey RCMP were called to the scene of the incident on August 24th, where a woman present confirmed she had struck the victim with her vehicle, on a driveway at a home on the reserve.
33-year-old Nolan Sugar was pronounced dead at a Regina hospital.
