Star Blanket First Nation Murder Suspect Appears in Court Again

An 18-year-old Star Blanket First Nation man, charged with Second Degree Murder, was back in court yesterday (Thu), in Fort Qu’Appelle.
Shauntay Keewatin remains in custody, and will be back in court next Thursday.
Officers from both the RCMP and File Hills Police Service responded to reports of an altercation at a home on the reserve, on the evening of January 31st, and found the victim inside.
The name of the victim, a 17-year-old boy who lived in the home, is not being released.
