Yorkton Experienced a Dry and Mild February

Yorkton had its seventh driest February in 80 years, with only 3 centimetres of snow.
The mean temperature for the month was minus 12.7 degrees, which is very close to the normal of minus 12.8.

As for temperatures province-wide, they were half-a-degree to more than two degrees above normal.

That was a complete turnaround from February 2019, when we went through lengthy periods of extreme cold.
