Muscowpetung Robbery Suspects Appear in Court

New court dates have been set for two men and a woman, charged after numerous robberies on the Muscowpetung First Nation, have a new court date.
25-year-old Jarrett Poitras, of the Muscowpetung First Nation, appeared yesterday (TUES), in Fort Qu’Appelle, and he remains in custody, with his preliminary hearing set to continue there on July 22nd.
21-year-old Michael Obey, of Regina, will make his next appearance that day, as well, and 27-year-old Jere Pinacie will appear for her prelim in Fort Qu’Appelle, on July 29th.
On March 4th, 2019, RCMP say a convenience store on the reserve was robbed of money and tobacco products, and then on July 23rd, the same store was robbed, and a home on the reserve was broken into.
