Yorkton Mayor Urges Residents to Shop Locally in Light of Coronavirus Outbreak

As the COVID-19 virus continues to slowly spread, measures like the provincial state of emergency, and shutting down local recreational facilities, will become the new normal.
Yorkton mayor Bob Maloney says the decision to close such places wasn’t easy to make, but given the current circumstances, was correct.
He says, understandably , people are concerned about the pandemic.
Maloney reminds people to shop locally, and if your favourite restaurant is closed, order something for pick-up instead.
