Manitoba’s Prairie Mountian Health Region has implemented new acute care facility visitor restrictions, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
At the discretion of individual managers, one visitor may be permitted to Maternity, Neonatal I-C-U, Pediatrics, Emergency Departments, and Cancer Care Programs, following sceening.
For pediatric patients, only one parent or guardian may visit at a time.
Exceptions for compassionate reasons for end-of-life will continue to be made on a case-by-case basis, but will include vigilant screening.
