Parliament to meet Tuesday in Ottawa, to pass emergency economic package

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced Parliament will reconvene on Tuesday.
Speaking during an update Sunday (22nd) morning, Trudeau says the purpose will be to pass emergency legislation, which will put Ottawa’s 82-billion-dollar economic strategy into action.
When asked about implementing the Emergency Measures Act, Trudeau said it is a step that would only be taken when all other options have been exhausted.
The current death toll related to COVID-19 in Canada, stands at 19.
Trudeau reminds Canadians to maintain social distancing, and thanked them for their vigilance in helping to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
