The Canadian Olympic Committee announced they won’t be sending a team to Tokyo for the Olympics, unless the games are pushed back at least 12 months.

The statement comes amid criticism directed at the International Olympic Committee in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

IOC President Thomas Bach said on Sunday that they set a deadline of about 4 weeks to figure out what they’ll do with the games which could include postponing the games to a later date.
