Justin Trudeau says the entire world was unprepared regarding personal protective equipment to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
During his daily coronavirus update in Ottawa, the prime minister was asked why they didn’t secure extra medical supplies when the government saw the virus expand in China.
Trudeau says his officials continue working with their U.S. counterparts to make sure needed medical equipment flows across the border.
He also offered his best wishes to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who was transferred to a London hospital I.C.U after contracting the virus.
