Justin Trudeau used his daily pandemic briefing this (Thu) morning to roll-out $1.1 billion in funding for a national medical and research strategy on COVID-19.

The Prime Minister says $115 million will go to research on vaccines and treatment.

$350 million is being spent on expanding testing and tracing the virus.
