Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has taken the wraps off new federal gun control legislation. Saying gun violence in Canada is increasing, Trudeau says they are closing the market for assault grade weapons in our country, and is banning the use, sale or importation of 15 hundred different types of those firearms. There will be a 2 year amnesty period, and the government will legislate fair compensation.
