Unifor employees trying to end the months-long dispute at the Regina Co-op Refinery have set up a secondary picket line in the Foam Lake-Elfros area.
Union members say they erected a picket at the Foam Lake Co-op Cardlock today (Tue), but a caller to our newsroom says it’s at the Elfros Bulk Plant, all in an effort to disrupt the fuel supply for farmers.
Unifor is asking farmers to contact their M-L-A with demands for the Saskatchewan government to legislate an end to the dispute.
The employees have been locked out since early December.
