A judge has awarded a Yorkton man 6.7-million dollars in damages for a violent assault almost 14 years ago.
Robert Mus began civil action against Tyler Kozakowski in 2008, and the matter finally went to trial last year.
In July of 2006, a 17-year-old Mus was camping at Clear Lake when another camper struck him in the head with a piece of firewood.
In 2008, Kozakowski was sentenced to 30 months in prison for aggravated assault.
